The Church news europe today of Scientology & Community Centre of Dublin marked International Volunteer Recognition Day 2026 by holding the 6th annual HELP Awards, an event dedicated to recognising people and groups helping others throughout Ireland. The ceremony drew volunteers, civic figures, human rights advocates and past awardees for a celebration of service to others.
Frank Allen, previous awardee, playwright, director and former Dublin Prisons teacher, gave the keynote address. This year’s award recipients included Walk And Talk and Stephen Brennan, the Kurdish Community of Ireland and Mokthar Moradi, the Indonesian-Irish Association and Irene Murphy, Scoil Rince Ní Áogain and Denise Egan, Nicolae Dulea, Joseph Orgin and Feljose Shristeca, Stefano Bonvini, Mohammed Rashid of Safco Fine Foods, Mass Events Ireland, Dr. Mahesh Baj, and Neera Baj.
Established in 2019 by the Scientology Volunteer Ministers, the HELP Awards celebrate those improving lives through community service. They also reflect the broader mission of the Scientology Volunteer Minister programme, created by author and humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard, whose trained volunteers offer practical help in communities and during times of crisis. The event celebrated the impact of volunteerism and the value of practical community support.
